The 1978km sq Queen Elizabeth National park enjoys a stunning location on the rift valley floor between lakes Edward and George where a mosaic of habitats support 95 mammal species and a remarkable 613 species of birds. 40 years age, douglas willocks described the diverse features that led to it creation in 1952. Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Pickup from your Hotel after breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National park in southern Uganda. This is a long day drive (approx – 7 hours) with lunch stop over en-route at igongo cultural center. the drive takes you through savannah fields, arrive late afternoon QENP is Uganda’s second largest park and is located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George.The park covers about 1978 square kilometers and spreads along the eastern shore of Lake Edward. The park has prolific game, including Herds of Uganda kob, bushbuck, waterbuck, reedbuck, African elephants and buffalos are more of the likely game. O/N Mweya Safari Lodge / Bush Lodge

Day 2: Morning game drive – Boat cruise on the kazinga channel

The day begins early when we start with break fast, then a morning game drive to Kasenyi the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs, track via the Crater Lakes region In search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat, before returning for lunch. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. Dinner and overnight O/N Mweya Safari Lodge / Bush Lodge

Day 3:We drive back to Kampala

After breakfast transfer to Entebbe making a stopover at the Equator Line for a photographic moment, craft and boutique shopping. Later proceed to your accommodation or Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight connections .
