Overview Program

Day 1:- Upon arrival – pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive to Mount Meru

You will be met and picked up by our driver guide /representatives from Kilimanjaro International Airport. Great, will also provide you with a short briefing as well. Afterwards, you will be taken to your accommodation at Arusha Coffee Lodge found at the foot of Mount Meru and hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations.

Day 2:- Check out and drive to Tarangire National Park- Enter with a game drive

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver/ tour guide who will take you to Tarangire National Park, located in Manyara Region. Tarangire is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania after Ruaha, Serengeti, Mikumi, Katavi and Mkomazi. , this place is characterized by the large Elephants, tree climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. The park is also known for its Tarangire river which flows all year round and the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. For Bird lovers should look out for the endemic birds of north-central Tanzania like the yellow-collared lovebirds, drabber rufous-tailed weaver, ashy starling etc.

Day3: – Morning Nature walk Safaris in Tarangire National park

After breakfast, we will go for a morning Nature walking safari in this park escorted by a professional armed ranger. Later in the afternoon after lunch, there will be another game drive at Tarangire National park. Likely animals to see are large herds of elephants, tree climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it.

This park is especially known for Tarangire river which flows all year round and the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons.

Day 4:- Check out and drive to Lake Manyara National Park – enter with the game drive

After breakfast, we will check out and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for yet another thrilling game drive. The star attraction at Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic lake that made Ernest Hemingway exclaim. Lake Manyara also provides the perfect opening to Tanzania’s birdlife with more than 400 species recorded. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favoured haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.

Day 5:- Transfer to Ngorongoro – Crater tour

After breakfast, we will drive to Ngorongoro for the day crater tour. This Park is known for its 20,000 mammals live in the area including about 20 black rhinoceros, Hence this making the crater as the best place in Tanzania to see such amazing creatures. The crater floor also has the highest carnivore densities in the world. Likely animals to look out include Lions, cheetahs, hyenas and jackals are commonly seen, while leopards, servals and bat-eared foxes may be seen with some luck.

Ngorongoro is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Great Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point.  Ngorongoro wildlife reserve was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. It exists to safeguard the interests of indigenous people as well as promote tourism. Thus, guests on safari have the unique experience of seeing Maasai herdsmen with their cattles among the tremendous variety of wildlife found in the area.

Day 6:- Central Serengeti National Park wildebeest experience

After breakfast, we will leave for Central Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch and enter with a game drive along the way to Serengeti, incredible wildlife and stunning views is famed for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundred thousands of zebras, a hyperactive bout of territorial conquests and mating happening from July-October.  Observer an actual survival of the fittest as these animals thrust through crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 mile) pilgrimage begins again.

Day 7:- 2nd Day Serengeti National Park wildebeest experience

Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you upclose look of the animals you’ve only seen in National Geographic: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.

Day 8:- Mara area. Serengeti north game viewing

After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti north viewing the great migration at Mara area. On this game route the key aspect is the Mara River and it is not unusual to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later.  Please take note that finding a animals crossing is very challenging and however its by luck. There are instances where herds can be seen next to the river but then only decide to cross a couple of days later. At this area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Day 9:- Serengeti National Park (North Lobo)

After breakfast, we will head north of Serengeti for a full day game drive in the wilderness tracking the Great migration trails. Witness million wildebeests, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 mile) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north.

Day 10:- Drive back to Arusha

After breakfast, we will have our last morning game drive at Serengeti North and afterwards transfer to the Lobo airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, we will take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight connection back home.
