Day 2: Gorilla trekking day (time permitting go for a nature walk)
After enjoying an early breakfast go for briefing at the park headquarters then, you set off for gorilla tracking. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation, interacting, play, and care for one another. Alternatively after gorilla trekking, there are other activities and excursions on offer in and around the national park:

Take a guided walk in the rainforest, home to several endemic bird species, butterflies and rare plant life / Discover the traditions of the Batwa Pygmies / Walk through the local village,

Day 3: Golden monkey Trekking, – Discover the traditions of the Batwa Pygmies
After enjoying an early breakfast, go for a briefing at the park headquarters then with a ranger guide, move through the bamboo forest in search of the rare Golden monkeys, endemic to this region. Have lunch and in the afternoon discover the traditions of the Batwa Pygmies, and learn about the native tribal inhabitants of the forest. The indigenous people of Mugahinga forest, though no longer resident in the forest, still practice many of their traditional hunter-gatherer skills, also meet medicine men, story tellers as well visit the cultural sites of the Batwa and other performances in the Garama cave. Alternatively walk through the local village and learn about community projects. Back to you lodge for dinner and overnight at Kisoro tourist Hotel or Travelers Rest Hotel or countryside guest House kisoro.
Day 4: Travel to Entebbe/Kampala
After breakfast this morning, you will check out and return to Entebbe making a lunch stopover en-route. You may also make stopovers at points you find of interest like at the Equator-line, Mpambire Royal drum makers, visit craft shops/fruit markets along the way for photographic moments before drop off to your accommodation in Entebbe. This is a 9 hours drive including lunch stop over.
